Support

Need help with AttiBooks? We’re here for you.

Start with the guide

Most questions are answered in the guide — setup, every settings field explained, workflow automations, and plans. Your dashboard shows your plan, usage this month, and the last runs of every automation.

Before you email

To help us resolve your issue faster, please include:

  • Your Attio workspace name or ID
  • A short description of what you were trying to do
  • What happened instead (any error message shown in Attio or on the invoice record)
  • Approximate time the issue occurred (so we can check logs)

Common issues

“App does not have permission to show iframe” on Link Account

This was a bug on our side, fixed in a newer version of the app. Update AttiBooks in Attio → Settings → Apps → AttiBooks and try Link Account again — you should now get a dialog with a link to attibooks.com. Nothing is wrong with your browser, ad blocker, or cookie settings.

QuickBooks connection lost or expired

Open AttiBooks settings in Attio and reconnect QuickBooks. Attio refreshes tokens automatically, but if your QBO admin revoked access you’ll need to authorize again.

Invoice creation fails with a QuickBooks authorization error

Usually a sandbox/production mismatch. Newer versions of AttiBooks detect the environment from the connection itself, so update the app first, then reconnect QuickBooks. Also confirm the QBO Company ID in 7. Advanced matches the company you authorized.

Invoice limit reached on Free plan

The Free plan includes 10 invoices per month, counted across manual and automated creation. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited invoices from the pricing section on the homepage. Your dashboardshows how many you’ve used this month.

A workflow block ran but nothing happened

Blocks skip on purpose rather than fail. Your dashboard shows the reason for each run: no invoice on record (the invoice ID writeback field is empty), already invoiced, nothing to push or no change to push (the values already match QuickBooks), or rate capped (more than 50 runs of that action in an hour — it retries later).

Invoice created in QBO but not in Attio

AttiBooks tracks invoices it created, plus any record whose invoice ID writeback field points at a QBO invoice. To store every invoice as its own Attio record, turn on Store invoices as Attio records in settings and run the setup step.

QuickBooks rejects a discount or tax code

Discount lines require the Discount preference to be enabled in QuickBooks (Settings → Account and settings → Sales → Discount). For tax, use TAX or NON on US companies and a tax code id elsewhere — the custom invoice dialog lists the codes your company actually has.

“Estimate was already converted”

Each estimate converts to an invoice once — that’s deliberate, so a workflow that re-fires can’t bill your customer twice. Clear the estimate ID on the record if you genuinely want a second invoice, or create a new estimate.

Field mapping not working

Check AttiBooks settings in Attio and confirm each required QBO field is mapped. The mapping fields are dropdowns of your real attributes; if the list is empty, check Target Objects in section 7 — and note you can still type a slug or a reference.attribute path by hand.

Errors you can’t see

Every failure is written back to the record in the field you mapped as Sync Error. Check there first — the exact QuickBooks message is usually in it.

Cancel or delete your account

Your dashboard has both: Manage billingopens Stripe’s customer portal, where you can cancel or change your card, and Unlink detaches an Attio workspace from your account. To request full deletion of your AttiBooks data, email us or see our Privacy Policy.
